Meghan Patrice Riley has lived in the San Francisco Bay Area for the last ten years. She began her career in jewelry design by procrastinating with beads, wire, and metal during college exams. After graduating, she apprenticed with a jeweler and honed her metalsmithing and design skills.

Her pieces are designed with beauty, simplicity and functionality in mind. She is inspired by a love of textiles and fibers which she fuses with metalworking. Her use of textile techniques to weave and coil gold and silver results in two-tone pieces that are ostensibly simple but intricate upon further observation.

“I wanted to create pieces that I myself would wear everyday and never take off–that are versatile enough to wear in the shower, at work or dining out on the town,” she says. Each piece is painstakingly crafted by hand using gold, sterling silver and fine silver.</p>
